Great Wines For the Holidays
December 8, 2011
Last time we looked at some of the white wines that I believe are good choices for your holiday table. Today, we’ll look at the red side of the wine spectrum.
Pinot Noir: Pinot is a natural for the holiday table. It has the depth of flavor and structure to stand up to the myriad range of flavors. It’s also not too heavy, so it does well as a wine to sip before you sit down to dinner. Great examples include Sojourn Cellars, Three Sticks, Dunstan, MacRostie, Landmark and Athair.
